My perspective - I may have a different take on many things

Dear Dad, The GOD decided to take you back from us on December 13,2013. There is nothing that we can do against the GOD's will. I am the most blessed person to have been born with you as my father. Your willpower, strength and devotion to the your work and family are unparalleled and made us what we are today. Whenever I faced any issue you used to say  " don't worry, I am still alive". These words will always echo in my heart and mind.  Your these words gave me strength to fight every difficult situation. I was able to conquer all challenges thrown at me because of your support. and guidance. Being a younger son I always had the privileges in everything whether buying new things or share of love and affection. Although it is difficult to even think life without you around, but the only consolation that we have is that you lived your life the way you wanted and always ensured that we get everything. The Four Candles burned slowly. Their ambiance was so soft you could hear them speak... The first candle said, "I Am Peace , but these days, nobody wants to keep me lit." When at a store checkout the young cashier suggested to the older woman that she should bring her own shopping bags in future because plastic bags weren't good for the environment.. The woman apologized and explained, "We didn't have this green thing back in my earlier days." The cashier responded, "That's our problem today. Your generation did not care enough to save our environment for future generations." She was right -- our generation didn't have the green thing in its day. Back then, we returned milk bottles, pop bottles and beer bottles to the shop. The shop sent them back to the plant to be washed and sterilized and refilled, so it could use the same bottles over and over. So they really were recycled. We refilled writing pens with ink instead of buying a new pen, and we replaced the razor blades in a razor instead of throwing away the whole razor just because the blade got blunt. But we didn't have the green thing back in our day

I hired a plumber to help me restore an old farmhouse, and after he had just finished a rough first day on the job: a flat tire made him lose an hour of work, his electric drill quit and his ancient one ton truck refused to start. While I drove him home, he sat in stony silence. On arriving, he invited me in to meet his family.
