Self Discipline

Image
Self-discipline is hard. Try these three tips to make your work more efficient every day: Get three things done before noon.  Statistics show that the team ahead at halftime is more likely to win the game. Enjoy your lunch knowing that you accomplished at least three tasks in the morning. Sequence for speed.  Break projects into parts. Take on the longer pieces at the beginning and make sure each subsequent part is shorter. If you leave the longest parts for last, you are more likely to run out of steam before the end of the day. Tackle similar tasks at the same time.  The mind thrives on repetition. You can build momentum by taking on similar projects at the same time https://time.com/2970193/the-top-7-management-tips-from-harvard-business-review/ https://www.linkedin.com/feed/ https://lifelikealion.files.wordpress.com/2013/04/pull-ups1.jpg

Facebook Ban ‘Sexual’ Use of Peach and Eggplant Emojis

Image
As Facebook does, they are changing something arbitrary instead of dealing with real issues on their platform. The newest change comes in the form of a ban on “sexual emojis”. The mildly problematic social media giant updated its Facebook community standards this summer, and it went into effect in September  2019 . The new terms within it move to ban the use of eggplant emojis, peach emoji, and water drip emojis when used in a suggestive manner basically because it, well, it “ seems horny “ . These emojis (in case you don’t know) at times represent the following: eggplant (penis), peach emoji (butt), water drip (ejaculation). Sorry to all the parents on here.
