Shiva Trinetra - Meaning of Third eye of Shiva

 Shiva Trinetra, also known as the "three-eyed" or "three-headed" form of Lord Shiva, is a significant aspect of Hindu mythology. The story behind this form of Shiva is rooted in ancient Hindu texts, such as the Puranas and the Mahabharata. According to the myth, once Lord Brahma, the creator of the universe, became arrogant and started misusing his powers. To teach him a lesson, Lord Shiva appeared before him in his three-headed form. The three heads of Shiva symbolize the three aspects of the universe - the past, present, and future. The first head of Lord Shiva is known as the Aghora or the destroyer of evil. The second head is called Vamadeva or the preserver of the universe, and the third head is called Tatpurusha, which represents the power of creation. In another version of the story, it is believed that Lord Shiva took the three-headed form to defeat the demon Tripura. The demon had become invincible and was causing havoc in the universe.
